Additionally, this is an area of great tourist interest, so you&#8217;ll find numerous complementary activities. This eruption resulted in the restructuring of this area of the island, with volcanic flows descending to the coast.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The landscape, therefore, is formed by volcanic material, such as basaltic lava, volcanic ash, and other dark-colored structures, which give this Monta\u00f1a Negra its name. Some areas have vegetation that has gained ground over the volcanic soils, creating a spectacular and very interesting contrast. It&#8217;s 4.5 kilometers long, with an approximate duration of 1h30 to 2h00, and crosses Canarian pine forests, lava flows, impressive volcanic landscapes, and much more. It&#8217;s a good route to do with family, as it doesn&#8217;t present much difficulty and allows for a relaxed pace.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PNT 33 Monta\u00f1a Negra Trail<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking advantage of a historic trail, this one connects PNT 01 (La Fortaleza) with PNT 22 (Lomo Hurtado) and is an excellent opportunity to discover <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sansofestay.com\/blog\/en\/corona-forestal-natural-park-teide\/\">Mount Teide<\/a> and Monta\u00f1a Negra at the same time. As with the previous routes, here you&#8217;ll also pass through different landscapes: fantastic views that deserve a pause and a photo. It&#8217;s a route of just over 3 kilometers, so it&#8217;s a good option for those who don&#8217;t have much time.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Native Flora and Fauna of the Area<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Monta\u00f1a Negra in Tenerife, despite the volcanic and arid soils, fauna and flora have done what nature always does: grow and conquer. If we talk about flora, we have to talk about the Canarian pine, very present in this region, which can live here because it adapts very well to these conditions and is quite fire-resistant.
