Our family
We are a large family closely related to agriculture. Our father Celestino González de Chávez together with our mother, Ana Parache, continued in 1976 with the work carried out by our grandparents and great-grandparents.
A great variety of crops have been cultivated on the farm such as tobacco, strelitzia, bananas, vegetables ...
Until in the mid-70s and for 35 years the farm was planted with vineyards for the production of our Sansofestay wine, both red and white. Our wines have garnered great national and international awards.
Between 2013 and 2018 the farm was planted gradually with 1,700 avocado trees, predominantly the Hass and Fuerte varieties and in 2017 we had the first harvest.
In 2008 we decided to create a small apartment complex integrated in the farm. The idea came when thinking what to do with an old warehouse that had been left without activity and dedicating it to vacation rentals was soon the best option.
Initially 8 apartments were created in the old building. The most outstanding feature is that, trying to integrate it into the environment, its entire facade was lined with stone from the farm.
Later, a small house and an apartment under it were added to the tourist exploitation.
Currently the farm shares agricultural and vacation rental work.
